Tonight is our Last table Service for 2024!
We greatfully thank you all for one more great season, greater than ever, busier, healthier and prosperous with fantastic people surrounding our taverna from the 10th of April since we opened this year.
This year's motos and the secret of our success was:
Come to us... we have NOTHING
Come. We Have Nothing..
We have nothing from the "must-haves" of modern times.
We don't have microwave ovens, flavor cubes, processed ingredients, or scales.
Our vegetables don't go in the fridge, we don't buy food from supermarket chains, we don't have chefs, professional staff, fancy dishes, plastic tables, paper cups, food photos, reels, TV, music, elaborate menus, cocktails, or champagne.
And yet, this "we have nothing" is our strength.
Here, minimalism is not a lack, but a choice of life. In our local cuisine, we choose simplicity: few, fresh ingredients from our land, handmade recipes passed down from generation to generation, and nothing that hides the natural flavor. Every dish is a celebration of authenticity, without excesses only quality, health, and kindness. This way of life allows us to care for our own people: our staff, who are mainly my family, are not just employees. They live with respect and dignity, and often enjoy the same care and appreciation from you, our customers. This reciprocity the warmth we give to each other turns into a unique experience, where everyone feels like family.
For 52 years, we have never paid for advertising. Here, there is only tradition, experience from generation to generation, and family food in all its authenticity. Our cuisine is for everyone: for every type of food lover, for different dietary habits, always focusing on the local products of Corfu.
We are opening today, April 6, 2026, for the summer season. We await you in Arillas to taste the simplicity that unites! We wish everyone a Happy Easter and Καλό Πάσχα.
